My Story

Keith Bakerboy is all about serving up delicious pies and pasties, along with sweet treats that will satisfy your cravings. Located in 86400 Civray, Southwest France, our goodies are made to order and perfect for any occasion. We take pride in our unique recipes and quality ingredients that set us apart. Let us share our story with you and give you a taste of what makes us different from the rest.

I born in London and raised by my grandmother who instilled a love for baking from a young age. After leaving school, I began an apprenticeship in Essex at Mr Michael Patisserie. Upon completing my apprenticeship, I embraced a passion for travel and discovered I could incorporate both worlds into one.

I worked and lived in the Caribbean for 20 years running different style bakeries and accumulating bakery knowledge from around the world. After getting married to my lovely wife Laura, we moved to France to raise our family and settle in the perfect place for a baker in a country renowned for its amazing pastries and breads. From 2020-2025 we ran Le Café Civray where I could supply the community with my English baked products. Now in my home in France I continue to bake in my professional kitchen producing pies and pastries both for the Crafty Café and online shoppers.
